Narrative Topic
I have chosen to write about my first time hunting with my father, this was a very significant time in my life because it signified a major change in my personal world view. I'll be writing this narrative to both supply information and provide an example to readers who have lost touch with the natural world, immersing themselves deep within technology. The exigence addressed the recent trend towards separating our ties from the natural world and embracing the modern world more fully; nature still has valuable gifts to provide us with.

Good. This sounds like a good topic. Be careful not to be too preachy. A good strategy here is to put the reflection in your thoughts, in convo with someone else (your father), or in the setup of the story rather than directly stating the lesson (which is often not very effective and might actually accomplish the opposite).
